Gregory Elders, MD, FAAOS
Dr. Elders is a board-certified and fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon. When it comes to serving the community, Dr. Elders focuses on a comprehensive, team approach to patient care that puts patients first. His commitment to providing compassionate care means that he, and the entire Northwood team, consider your pain and disability a priority. Dr. Elders will work with you to find the least-invasive and most comfortable treatment plan to suit your needs. A graduate of the University of Michigan medical school, with honors, he served as chief resident in the Henry Ford Hospital’s department of orthopaedic surgery, and went on to complete a spinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Texas Back Institute. Dr. Elders offers the most innovative and least invasive techniques available. He continues to actively engage with global industry leaders in the development of minimally invasive surgical techniques and instrumentation.
Mirza Baig, M.D., Ph.D
Dr. Baig is a graduate from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He received both a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Doctrine of Medicine from Howard University in Washington D.C. He then completed his Residency with Department of Neurological Surgery at Ohio State University and was named Chief Resident the following year. During that time he served as an instructor for the Department of Neurological Surgery at Ohio State University. Dr. Baig then practiced Neurosurgery at Mercy Medical Center and was an Instructor at Des Moines University’s Department of Neurosurgery. He currently is practicing throughout the area of Woodlands specializing in Spine and Brain surgery and treatment. Dr. Baig is active in research and has had many of his findings published throughout his career and has presented his work for many Neurological meetings throughout the country.
Linda Anit, PT, MPT, MBA
Linda Anit received her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from D. Y Patil University. Her areas of Expertise includes Orthopedics, Manual Therapy, Dry Needling, Myofascial Decompression, and Sports rehabilitation. With Extensive cutting edge experience in Physical Therapy methods such as McKenzie Approach, Linda can work with complex neck and back problems for long term solutions. In addition to being active with patients, she is also active in the physical Therapy community with memberships at the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) and Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA). She is currently working towards acquiring her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) Certification.
Lindsey Wells received her Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training from McNeese State University and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. She has gained valuable experience working with young student athletes prior to becoming a Physical Therapist as a High School Athletic Trainer. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and continues to expand her knowledge by taking continuing education classes and incorporating evidence based practice into her treatments. Lindsey is from Brenham, TX and loves Blue Bell Ice Cream, spending time outdoors, trying new foods, and traveling.
